How Texas Helped a Private School Chain’s AI Tool Get Into Public School Classrooms
ProPublica and The Texas Tribune report that Texas education commissioner Mike Morath helped the private Alpha School chain pitch its AI platform to at least 10 districts after the state board rejected its charter bid. At least three districts, including Houston, launched pilot programs.
